As we arrived at Hôtel des Volcans, we were greeted by the stunning view of Puy de Dome, shrouded in clouds, from our room. The reception hostesses were not only charming but incredibly helpful, adding to the warm welcome despite the hotel's dated appearance. The location right off the autoroute made it a convenient stop for the night on our journey. Despite the slight noise from the nearby motorway, the peaceful surroundings and magnificent views of the volcanoes offered a serene setting. The presence of grassy areas allowed for a pleasant stroll with our furry companions, making it a pet-friendly retreat. The attached restaurant was a delightful surprise, offering indoor and outdoor dining options with a lovely terrace to enjoy the picturesque scenery. Although the hotel prices were higher than expected, we opted to book online, ensuring a smooth reservation process. Hôtel des Volcans provided a comfortable stay with friendly staff, beautiful views, and a convenient location, making it a worthwhile choice for future stopovers.
